Our stuff was delivered yesterday, even earlier than the original schedule. No items were missing and everything was intact without even a single scratch. Both pick up and delivery teams were very polite, professional and cooperating. We have been extremely satisfied with Golan's service and wanted to thank you and your colleagues. I have to thank you and rave about the move!  Never in my life have I worked with such a wonderful crew. Oscar and his team were amazing. They were positive, kind, fast, careful and patient (as we weren't always as organized as we wished). We all gave them a standing ovation at the end of the move. Hello~ I just wanted to drop a note of thanks to Golans for doing such a top-shelf job of moving us to the burbs. 

First, I'm in awe of your skill set of PERFECTLY estimating how long it would take 5 men to move all our stuff, especially since we had 3 different stops. I have no idea how you did that, but you are amazing. They went 15 minutes longer than you expected. I'm still in shock and awe at your accuracy. Did you study this in school? How do you learn to estimate like that? I can't even tell if my leftovers will fit into a specific Tupperware--so I'm seriously impressed.

Of course, the crew did a fabulous job of wrapping everything and delivering it without a scratch. (Even the piano, thank you.)  We expected that.  However, we didn't expect them to be experts in furniture placement and room lay-out. I was so happily surprised that they also re-built our king size bed, baby crib, and queen bed, and helped fix the queen bed frame that was missing a wheel before we moved.

Also--our foreman was a prince. He knew exactly the level to set the mattress for our baby's crib, and the best nursery furniture lay-out--mostly because he's also a good daddy, and has 3 girls of his own. That's the stuff that's priceless. 

Thank you for making a difficult move with a new infant and a 4 year old a bit easier. Next time I'll be smart enough to hire you to pack and unpack us, too.  :)

• park the truck on the street at the curb. 
• had to carry everything across the sidewalk and the driveway, then up a steep ramp onto the first floor of the parking garage. 
• then across the entire span of the first floor of the garage - 40 yards.
• then up an even steeper and longer ramp to the 2nd floor of the garage.
• then 100 feet to the door to the recycle room.
• then load everything into a small elevator to take up to our unit on the 8th floor.
• then do it all over again.
• all with a looming 4:30 lock-out time on the elevator!
